My Story
While the common dolphin used to be (you guessed it) common in the Mediterranean Sea, the population of short-beaked common dolphins in Western Greece has sharply declined since the 60s due to overfishing, and is currently listed as endangered.
The establishment of marine protected areas, where fishing is not permitted and human activities are restricted, may slowly help this species to recover so that once again, humans can depict them on paintings as we have done since the Minoan civilization lived on Crete.
The Small Letters
All products are created by hand, with great care and devotion. While we pay attention to reflecting the paintings true to size and colour, minor deviations may occur as not all screens are created equal.
